The EPA on Friday hiked the amount of biodiesel to be included in fuel markets from 1 billion gallons to 1.28 billion gallons for 2013. The action was mandated by the Energy Independence and Security Act. An official with the Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers said the action was "yet another example of the Obama administration putting politics ahead of American consumers." The law was enacted under the Bush administration in 2007. Surprise.
