Idaho Transportation Department schedules hearings on oversized loads

BOISE, ID -- The ITD has set Dec. 8 and 9 for a hearing over four oversized loads ConocoPhillips wants to haul from the Port of Lewiston over scenic U.S. Route 12 to Billings, MT.

Permits for a separate project by Imperial Oil / ExxonMobil's Kearl Module Transportation Project to northeastern Alberta, have yet to be issued by either Idaho or Montana transportation departments. These similar-sized loads -- over 200 -- will be affected by delays in ConocoPhillips' four shipments.
