MIAMI, FL -- Cargo theft rings run by Cuban-Americans out of South Florida target everything from computer hard drives to Viagra, a CBS evening news piece reveals. Losses from the heists total $37 billion a year.
Last year alone, $184 million in prescription drugs were stolen, an increase of 350 percent from 2007, prompting the FDA to send warning letters to pharmaceutical companies.
