C.H. Robinson buys Chicago freight forwarder

C.H. Robinson Worldwide Inc. has purchased Phoenix International Inc., a Chicago-based freight forwarder, for $571.5 million in cash $63.5 million in stock. Phoenix International reported $807 million gross earning in the fiscal year ending in June.
