The apocalypse of Mexican trucks predicted on our highways amounts to six trucking companies (primarily single truck companies) and 100 long-haul trips into the U.S. since last October. Auditors feel with so few participants they cannot complete a congressionally mandated safety study under the pilot program. The OOIDA and other activists vehemently opposed the plan that resulted in the lifting of Mexican tariffs on key American goods.
