ARLINGTON, VA. -- In a
press release the American Trucking Associations (ATA) announced support today for
Mothers Against Drunk Driving's (MADD)
Campaign to Eliminate Drunk Driving.
"ATA and MADD share a common goal of reducing injuries and fatalities on our nation's highways – the trucking industry's workplace," ATA President and CEO Bill Graves said. "We welcome the opportunity to support their efforts to remove drunk drivers from our roads."
From its website, MADD claims it has evolved into "..one of the most widely supported and well-liked non-profit organizations in America."
