Net orders climbed to 38,200 units and represent an increase of 239% from year ago April. The data is reflective of truck manufacturers recent forecasts of orders climbing beyond 200,000 units this year.
“The challenge now is for the industry to translate all of this demand into trucks,” said Kenny Vieth, president and senior analyst.
