UPS to open several healthcare, pharmaceutical distribution centers


NEW YORK -- United Parcel Service plans to open four new global healthcare distribution centers, driven by rapid demand from pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies.
The world's largest package delivery company said it expects to spend $100 million to build facilities in Venlo, the Netherlands; Burlington, Canada; Louisville, Kentucky, as well as its first healthcare center in Singapore.
